Life transitions
Change without losing your footing.
A new job, a breakup, a move, hitting a milestone birthday that rattles more than it should — big transitions bring up questions you don't always have someone to ask. We work through what's changing, what you actually want from it, and what to do next.
Relationships
Navigating relationships with skill and grace.
Whether it's a partner, an ex, a parent, or a friendship that's gone quiet, relationship strain is rarely about one dramatic conversation — it's about learning to navigate closeness, boundaries, and conflict in a way that's balanced and sustainable. We work on building relationships that actually work, not just getting through the hard moments.
Work/life balance
Stop running on empty.
Ambition without limits burns out. We look at where your time and energy actually go, where the trade-offs are costing you more than they're worth, and how to build a version of "successful" that doesn't wreck the rest of your life.
Confidence & purpose
Know what you're for.
Some of this is quieter — the sense that you're capable of more, or unsure what you're actually working toward. We dig into what matters to you, where self-doubt is running the show, and what moving forward actually looks like.
I was diagnosed with a chronic illness shortly after immigrating to Canada from Iran — one more disruption in a life that had already asked me to rebuild more than once. I've lived and worked overseas, including a stretch in the Netherlands as a software developer, and moved through several different careers before finding my way here. None of it followed a straight line. I found my purpose by making a lot of mistakes, staying open to reinvention, and leaning on community to become the kind of person I actually wanted to be.
That's the lens I bring to mentorship: not a theory of how transitions are supposed to go, but firsthand experience of what it takes to actually go through one.
The tools we use shouldn't use us. Part of this work is noticing where technology is quietly running your attention and agency — and taking that back.
We are nature, not separate from it. Coming into balance means reclaiming our relationship to the natural world and to our own primal self.
Creativity isn't a hobby — it's a muscle that makes you the author of your own life. Cultivating it, and clearing what blocks it, is central to moving from stuck to purposeful.
Growth isn't a solo project. Part of this work is being intentional about the communities and people you surround yourself with — the ones that bring out your best.
Space to think out loud with someone who isn't inside your situation.
Every conversation ends with something concrete, not just insight.
This isn't about me telling you what to do — it's about drawing out what you already know, and helping you trust and act on it.
Meet from home, or in person in the Richmond Hill / GTA area — whatever fits your life.
You're going through a life transition — career, relationship, family, identity
You feel stuck, unsure what's next, or quietly dissatisfied despite things "looking fine"
You want a direct, honest perspective rather than more advice from people too close to the situation
You're ready to do something about it, not just talk about it
A short conversation to see if this is a fit, for both of us.
We get clear on what's actually going on and what you want to change.
Regular sessions, direct feedback, and accountability between them.
Mentorship is not therapy, counselling, or psychotherapy, and isn't a substitute for mental health treatment. If what you're navigating involves a mental health crisis, a diagnosed condition, or something that needs clinical support, I'll say so directly and help you find the right resource. This is a mentorship relationship focused on ordinary life challenges — transitions, relationships, purpose, and confidence — not on treating a disorder.
